Şerife Bacı (2017)

The documentary Şerife Bacı tells the forgotten story of women who carried ammunition during the Turkish War of Independence. These women, who selflessly displayed acts of heroism, were overlooked by history, and their stories faded into obscurity. The 38-minute-long film was funded by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It has been included in the curriculum of the Ministry of National Education and shown in all primary schools.
